God is very clear that His will is for each believer to have their needs met and to have an abundance to give and be a great blessing. He also gives us much instruction on steps that will take us toward this goal and warnings to avoid that will keep us from it. The Biblical Economics course will help the students to understand God’s will and goal for their personal financial life and introduce them to the wisdom and skills necessary to live in God’s best.

BLOOD COVENANT – BLC: God has initiated how we are to relate to him throughout the Bible. These agreements are referred to as “covenants” and were always sealed by blood. This course will help the student understand why God requires the blood of another in order to have a relationship with Him. As the truths of the New Covenant are believed, so much other truth from God’s word will be seen more clearly.

Faith is the natural response towards God from a human heart that is convinced that He loves them and will keep His word. This assurance gives the believer great stability and strength and causes him to rise up above the circumstances of life and see God’s hand of strength. The importance of this Bible subject cannot be overemphasized as it is the only way we enter into God’s best and please Him. The overview includes authorship, historical setting, purposes and themes and other pertinent information to bring clarity regarding the thought and message of each book.

OLD TESTAMENT SURVEY I – OTS: The emphasis in this course is not on historical facts but on pertinent truths. The Apostle Paul had this in mind when he wrote to the Corinthians concerning Old Testament history. “Now all these things happened unto them (Israelites) for ensamples (examples, types); and they are written for our admonition (instruction), upon whom the ends of the world (ages) are come.” I Cor. 10:11. Through the study of the history of God’s Covenant People, Israel, God’s nature, the sin of man and its consequences and the great mercy of God is revealed in the plan of redemption. The “Scarlet Cord” of redemption is seen through the Old Testament from the beginning. This course is designed to show how the Old Testament contains a wealth of illustrative material. These become concrete pictures of abstract truths, thus making it easy to learn to apply truth to life. An attempt is made to have the Old Testament, “come alive.”

OLD TESTAMENT SURVEY II – OTS: The emphasis in this course is not on historical facts but on pertinent truths. Methods of personal evangelism will also be understood and practiced.

PERSONAL GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT – PGD: It is the will of God that every believer grows up in Him – to be perfected, developed, and matured for the work of the ministry. Christ is the perfect example of being mature, the One by Whom we should measure our lives. In this series, you will see that the greater our development, the greater our work of ministry will be, and the greater our contribution to the overall building of the body of Christ.

RIGHTEOUSNESS – RIG: The subject of Righteousness is one of the least understood doctrines of the Bible today. Yet, it is the very reality that God gave men access into through the plan of redemption. Therefore, a practical study of Righteousness will be the emphasis of this course. This course is designed to introduce the revelation of Righteousness and to encourage application of this reality to our personal lives on a daily basis.

SEARCH FOR SIGNIFICANCE – SFS: From life’s outset, we find ourselves searching to satisfy some inner, unexplained yearning. Our hunger causes us to search for people who will love us. Our desire for acceptance pressures us to perform for the praise of others. We strive for success, driving our minds and bodies harder and harder, hoping that because of our sweat and sacrifice, others will appreciate us more. Although forgiven by God, many of us enter our Christian life with a wrong self-perception because of baggage from our past. The Search for Significance course will demonstrate the frustration and hopelessness of searching for a lasting sense of self-worth in the world and show how this sense of self-worth can be found, as we trust in Christ and what He has done for us.

THE AUTHORITY OF THE BELIEVER – TAB: This course will give the student clear
instruction on how Jesus obtained victory for every believer. It will also give clarity on
how that victory is practically implemented in the life of a Christian. The victory that
Jesus won over the enemy was not for Himself but for people who had been held
captive by the enemy.

CHARACTER OF GOD – COG: God had gone to great lengths to make Himself known to mankind. Through His word, He has clearly defined His boundaries – where He starts and stops. He tells us who He is and who He is not. He tells us what He does and what He does not do. Far too many Christians believe that God is a mystery that can never be understood. This course will show the student large amounts of Biblical evidence how God can be known and therefore relied upon in a relationship.

THE HOLY SPIRIT – THS: Jesus said in John 14 that He would pray the Father and
He would send another Comforter that would abide with us forever. One must

fellowship with Him. This course emphasizes the necessity of the Holy Spirit in the
personal life and public ministry of the believer.
