Networking is about making connections and building relationships in informal social settings that provide shared interests and experiences. This is what The Rhema Alumni Association of Zambia offers- a networking platform in a Godly environment. It allows alumni to widen their circles of acquaintances, find out about job and business opportunities, and increase their awareness of news and trends in their fields.
Since inception in 2011, Rhema has graduated 992 students who are part of the alumni family. Our current goal as alumni leadership is to ensure that all class groups strengthen their network systems. The two years spent at Rhema is common ground for transformation and networking. Great friendships have been birthed from these networks.
To achieve this, alumni has embarked on building cohesion at a class level by putting emphasis on class groups to remain active and connected even after graduation. To enhance effectiveness, alumni has expanded leadership at a class group level as follows:
- Class Coordinators: They exercise leadership control, ensure compliance, and share information to facilitate class group discussions. They also collect inspiring success stories from alumni and work with the Class Events Coordinator to promote social events for their class. These informal gatherings are designed for networking.
- Class Events Coordinators: They promote networking among alumni in the same class. They are in charge of organizing social activities for the class group.
- Rhema Ministerial Services Class Coordinator: Oversees the class group’s ministry-related issues and collaborates closely with the class coordinator.
- Partnerships Class Coordinator: Promotes partnerships between RBTCZ and alumni as well as between alumni themselves.
These teams above are there to create an environment for class members to live life together by having effective, authentic and Godly networks.
The alumni leadership urges all class coordinators and leaders to serve effectively as unto the Lord, ensuring that each class group is strengthened and connected. Every class is urged to hold its own reunion at least once a year.
